  • Ice Castles tickets go on sale late in December
    • Take a trip to see the ice castles in Stillwater. A real-life winter wonderland with ice creations, light shows, and even Disney princesses.
  • Macy’s Santaland Display open until December 24th
    • Stop by the 8th floor of Macy’s in Minneapolis to see the Santaland Display. See “A Day in the Life of an Elf” and how everyone prepares for Christmas Day. Perfect if you’re stuck babysitting your younger siblings or cousins.
  • Walker Art Center dates and times may vary
    • One of the top five most visited museums in the U.S., the Walker Art Center’s contemporary art collection is a must-see. From glass art, pottery, photography, and sculptures – to its theater and rotating exhibits – there is sure to be something for everyone. If you’re under 18 gallery tickets are free!
  • Holidazzle at Loring Park Thursdays through Sundays, November 25-December 23
    • A holiday destination for people to come and enjoy downtown Minneapolis. All ages welcome, it showcases local food, art, and community groups. There’s outdoor skating, musical performances, and weekly movies. You can even stick around for fireworks at the end of the night!
  • Skating at the Renaissance Depot Hotel check online for dates and times 
    • The Depot Skating Rink has been named as one of the top places to skate by USA Today. It is housed in an 1899 Minneapolis train depot, hence the name. The floor to ceiling windows creates the illusion you’re outside, and a bonus of the location is that there are food and drinks close by.
