Marsala

Niamh McIntosh-Yee, A&E Editor

Out with the old and in with the new. Pantone, the color connoisseurs of the world, have decided that we must douse ourselves in the color Marsala this year. Marsala like the wine, not the chicken. Marsala is a nice change from last year’s Radiant Orchid. It’s a deep red that will look good in any season. You can already see the maroon shade popping up in collections of stores like Target and Macy’s.

If you don’t want to update your wardrobe to include countless new items in Marsala after you drained Screen Shot 2015-02-17 at 8.50.53 PMyour bank account last year on all things Radiant Orchid, buy a cheap accessory! A tee, tie, necklace, or nail polish in this color can go a long way. This goes for both guys and girls- grab something in Marsala for the spring season to shock your peers with your color attentiveness and wow them with how well this color works with your skin tone. From your resident Breezes fashionista, I HIGHLY recommend incorporating this beautiful, versatile color into your wardrobe in some way!
