How to bundle up and stay warm without looking like an Eskimo

It’s hard to imagine Minnesota without a grueling winter filled with snow, snow, and you guessed it: more snow. There comes a point when we all just want to put on 5 layers in order to stay warm. Take this winter by storm by wearing cozy yet fashionable clothing that won’t make you look like a marshmallow.

Mittens

Gloves can look big and bulky, so find a pair of mittens to keep you warm. With all your fingers in one place, they will be much cozier and will also look cuter with your winter outfits! Lauer mittens come in colors that will match almost anything, but even better, they are suede on the outside and fleece on the inside. These mittens will keep you toasty through the long winter months.

Fleece lined leggings

For girls (guys too if that’s your thing), throw a pair of fleece lined leggings on with almost any outfit. Wear a skirt or dress through the winter with these comfy and chic leggings. Feeling lazy? Pull them on under a pair of sweatpants to complete any grout-fit. Since they have fleece on the inside, it will be almost like you are wrapped up in a blanket by the fire.

Wool socks

While worrying about the rest of your body, it’s easy to forget to cover your little piggies.  You can easily make them pigs-in-a-blanket by putting on a pair of wool socks. Made with the finest textiles, Smart Wools are a must have for your winter wardrobe. They have both mens and womens, so anyone can wear them. To make them even better, they have a lifetime guarantee so they won’t get holes like others.  Don’t forget your toes this winter, and bundle up in a pair of warm wool socks.

Beanie

Some may say that only hipsters can wear beanies, but this winter you can prove them wrong by rocking a warm beanie. Show your melon some love by wrapping it up in a Love Your Melon Beanie. The great thing about this beanie is that not only is it made locally, but also for each one sold the company gives one to a child battling cancer. Support a great organization while also keeping your head cozy and loved.
