What is a Phobia? A phobia is a type of anxiety disorder that causes a long-term extreme or obsessive fear of something. A phobia is most commonly caused by a traumatic or stressful event during a person's childhood. However, sometimes the cause of phobias is unknown. Most phobias are cured by gradual exposure to the cause of fear or medication. The most fascinating fact about phobias is that they could be anything, no matter how strange it may be. Here are some of the weirdest phobias out there:

As I walk down the aisles of the grocery store I cannot help but notice strange yet clever products filling up the shelves lately. I have always been curious to see if these products are marketing tactics in hopes of making money off of healthy-eating millennials or if they actually work. I decided to buy a few and try them out.
There is debate whether companies like Juul are specifically marketing towards teens.

Vaping has reached a point where its scent is recognizable by most high school students. Everyone from experts to Instagram ads now calls the widespread popularity of vaping an epidemic, and justifiably so. The 2017 Minnesota Youth Tobacco Survey found that one in five high school students currently vapes. This statistic, while unsurprising to many teens, raises serious concerns.
Most freshman are worried about getting lost around MHS, but theyll get it eventually.

An amendment thrown around almost as much as the Second Amendment is the First Amendment. If anyone should know anything about the United States, it’s that this is the land of guns and the home of freedom: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom to assemble, and freedom to petition the government. It’s not one of the most important parts of the Constitution for no reason. The United States has been built around this idea, and we see it every day. From Trump’s right to use Twitter to the ability of publications like The New York Times and The Washington Post to exist, even the right to scream out a string of curse words, our everyday lives are deeply rooted in this American ideal.
