Second Annual Drinking Fountain Awards

This is the news that matters: an update on which drinking fountains of the school meet most students’ needs. Last April, Breezes published an article ranking each of the water fountains the school offers against one another. This year, the newspaper wished to not only update, but also to involve more student input to acquire more accurate results. Here is the evidence from all categories.

Life as a Left Hander

Only 10% of the world population is left handed. But For left handed people of the world, life isn’t easy. Throughout history, stigmas were attached to left handedness such as them being unclean, witches, or possessed by the devil. Children with left handed tendencies were forced to use their right hand in school.

Life can be tough; we’ve all experienced something that we didn’t think we could handle or that forced us to make changes we were never expecting. As teenagers--especially at such a high-pressure school as Minnetonka--we are overworked, fatigued, and stressed to the breaking point. It can be overwhelming, and stress can potentially lead to anxiety disorders, acne, stomach aches, depression, headaches and increased agitation, among many other things.
