After a month into the school year, teachers are assigning homework most nights and students have to find a way to balance school and relaxation. Some students have multiple hours of work a night. The elementary school question of “Do I have homework?” transforms into “What do I absolutely need to get done tonight, and what things are not as important?” Thus begins the cycle of procrastination.

Minnetonka Gymnastics Team Carries High Hopes into 2018 Season

When thinking of team and individual sports, what examples come to mind? In basketball, the team works together to get the ball in the hoop. In soccer, you pass the ball to your teammates with the hope of getting it past the goalie. In football, the offensive line clears the way for the running back in order to get a touchdown. But in individual sports, players have to depend on their own talent and skill to win.

Girls’ Swim & Dive Head to State 2017

Minnetonka’s girls' swim and dive team went to state last week, with thirteen individual athletes qualifying in twenty two events at the championship, as well as qualifying all three relays (200 IM, 200 freestyle, 400 freestyle). The team has had a very strong season so far, winning the majority of their dual meets and winning the section 2AA championships for the third year in a row. The team placed second overall, scoring a total of 281.5 points.

Fall is a great time at Minnetonka High School. It marks the beginning of a new school year, new classes, and best of all: fall sports. While the autumn air may be cooling down, the Minnetonka Boys' Varsity Soccer Team is heating up with their soccer season officially in full swing.
