Here’s Why the Minnesota Wild are Winning the Stanley Cup this Season

Charlie Cowan, Staff Writer February 23, 2017
Yep. You read the title right. The Wild will win the Stanley Cup this year. The Wild is currently 34-12-5, which is good for 1st in the Western Conference and 2nd overall in the NHL, only behind the Washington Capitals. The Wild are a young team, led by an experienced coach in Bruce Boudreau, who last coached the Anaheim Ducks. A tradition that’s been around for over a decade, Man Pageant is a goofy and fun “beauty” pageant with contestants being Senior males voted in by the rest of the class. The males perform a talent for an audience of upperclassmen, usually beside a group of cupids. Many prefer their ‘cupids’ be close friends, since let’s face it, it’s easiest to let loose and joke around on stage alongside the bois.
