The winter season often brings joy to many homes, however, there are still many families that need a little extra help, especially during the holidays. A survey was taken on Friday, November 18th, asking students from all grade levels about their Thanksgiving traditions, food choices, and activities. The most popular food choice was surprisingly not the traditional Turkey dish, but mashed potatoes and gravy. Heartwarmingly, the most popular activity to do on Thanksgiving was catching up with family members. Breezes wishes everyone a happy Thanksgiving!

Tragedy is never expected, nor is it ever timely or painless. In times of tragedy and loss, grief is often our innate response. We all mourn in our own ways and at our own pace, and it is vital to recognize and respect these differences to allow others to heal. If you are experiencing any signs of grief, know there is support. You are not alone. Guidance is here and readily available, but if you would rather seek help outside of the school building, please consider going to one of the many organizations in the Twin Cities area that offer support groups for those who need a little extra help coping with the loss of a loved one.
