What are you excited about for senior year?

[This] year I’m excited to be able to represent Minnetonka as your president and I really am excited to start brainstorming new ideas…I do know I can’t do this by myself though, and since We Are One, please if anyone has ideas or questions or anything. Don’t be afraid to tell anyone on Student Government!

What activities are you involved with at MHS?

Besides Student Government, I participate in choir, theater, sometimes I just go and join other random clubs to see what they’re like!

What are you hoping to accomplish on student government this year?

I’m hoping that… I’ll be able to work more on the movement of Mental Health awareness for students. The amount of students that deal with depression and anxiety is shocking, and I want to… show students that they’re not alone and there’s always help.

What animal would you shrink and have as a pet?

I would either shrink a panda bear or a capybara!!!

Licks or Adele’s? What do you get?

ADELE’S!!!! I usually get the cookie sundae or vanilla ice cream with Oreos.

What do you want people to know about student government?

Student Government does a lot more behind the scenes that you think.

What is your favorite class that you’ve taken at Minnetonka?

Intro to Engineering. We got to make several projects that we could take home, including fidget spinners.

Favorite summer activity?

Probably playing some sports and getting super sweaty. Then cooling off and chilling on a boat.

Licks or Adeles? What do you get?

Neither. Dairy Queen Blizzards are the way to go.

What are you excited about for senior year?

Spending time with the people that I have come to call my friends. I’m also very excited for my last Coffeehouse concerts and to see all of the amazing music talent.

What motivated you to run for a student government executive position?

I’ve seen the huge cultural impact that Student Government is able to have on the school… furthering the positive change that Student Government is enacting in the school.

What activities are you apart of at MHS?

I’m involved in…DECA [and] I’m an officer on the Coffeehouse board, which is one of my favorite groups (and events) here at MHS…Finally, I’m going to be a captain of the Nordic Ski Team here at MHS for this upcoming winter season!

What animal would you shrink and have as a pet?

An elephant. Maybe a shark.

What type of music do you listen to in your car?

Honestly, I listen to more or less everything… it’s probably a mix of Kanye, Hippocampus, country, stand-up comedy, and the top charts.

What are you excited about for senior year?

I know it sounds cliché but I’m really just looking forward to making memories and enjoying my last year with a lighter class load.

What is your favorite class that you’ve taken at Minnetonka?

AP Physics/English Communications combination. Both Mrs. Hoehne & Ms. Holt are amazing teachers and it was really fun getting to know a core group of people that I would spend two hours with!!

What motivated you to run for a student government executive position?

I’ve always enjoyed meeting new people and making an impact on our school… I was really motivated to specifically run for Secretary because communication is such a key aspect as to how we stay connected with the student body.

What would your dream vacation be?

I feel like it would be so fun to go backpacking in Iceland– I’ve seen so many cool pictures of the waterfalls and caves there, and it’d be such a picturesque place to see.

Favorite summer activity?

My absolute favorite thing to do in the summer is to go hammocking with a few books and just read for hours!
