Q: What made you get into football?
A: “I had a lot of friends in the sport and I wanted to come out and play with them. And then after that, just went along with it and knowing I’d eventually end up here”
Q: How do you feel about home games vs away games?
A: “I definitely prefer home games, I love the student section. I just love the whole energy about it. I love this field.”
Will McKinney, ’26
When Will is not on the field he spends his time contributing to the Minnetonka community by volunteering with unified and first mates. Will is a strong and mindful leader that knows the value of living life without regrets.
Q: What made you stay in football as long as you did?
A: “I just really enjoy the sport, making friends, and its like a bond with your teammates, like you’re brothers”

Q: What is one thing that is unique to football?
A: “Our coach always says that after you leave high school, if you’re not going to play in college, you’re never going to get around your buddies and play a pickup football game with pads and helmets out here. If you don’t take advantage of it while you’re young you might regret it.”
