Dear Stranger,
There is nothing more stressful this month than preparing for my AP Exams! I really want to do well, so I need a plan to study. Do you have any suggestions?
AP Anxiety
Dear AP Anxiety,
Preparing for these final exams is no joke! I recommend that you plan for what material you need to study, spreading it out in chunks based on how much time you have before your exams. A stranger I spoke to suggests that you start studying “sooner rather than later” and that if you “block out times when you are going to be studying for your exams,” you will be in a good spot to achieve your goals. Another strategy could be “filling a notebook with notes from the year that you want to remember,” if you are struggling to find somewhere to begin. Trust yourself, and I know that whatever happens, you will come out stronger.
Sincerely,
Stranger

Dear Stranger,
I can’t wait for summer! However, I am beginning to lose steam for schoolwork and my extracurriculars. Everything feels like such a drag, and the weather is so nice outside. What should I do?
Springing Into Summer
Dear Springing Into Summer,
I can’t wait for summer either! Thinking about summer plans can be intoxicating and a welcome distraction from schoolwork, but as you said, it is important that you maintain your focus in these last few weeks of school. I recently had a conversation with a stranger who is feeling similarly to you, and they recommended that you “take advantage of the outdoors” and “do your homework outside!” No matter what, you will still have to get your work done and fulfill your commitments, but you have control over where you complete these tasks outside of school. My stranger recommended that you “visit a coffee shop to get work done,” or “try having a group study session” so that you can see your friends and get your homework done simultaneously.
Sincerely,
Stranger
