Alia Arellanes and Breezes Editorial Board November 30, 2016
As the days get snowier and the nights get colder, the time and help you can provide becomes more and more of a necessity for some. The winter season often brings joy to many homes, however, there are still many families that need a little extra help, especially during the holidays. The 'Breezes' Editorial board has put together a few ways that you can help spread some holiday cheer throughout your community.

Minnetonka’s Best Unknown Elective

It’s no secret that Minnetonka High School is a major advocate of technology. We were one of the first schools in Minnesota to incorporate iPads into academic life in 2012, and have stressed the importance of visual learning through technology ever since. However, the implementing of iPads in the classroom hasn’t been the only innovative step Minnetonka has taken towards gearing learning to a new generation of students. He quickly evolved from being a stuffed animal filled with nylon to a costume a student could actually wear. Then, in 1985, by popular vote, Skip the Duck replaced Oscar from ‘85 to ‘89. Yet, after four short years, Skip the Duck lost out to the Skipper, who currently reigns as our mascot, due to several movements in the 1980s to have a more “macho” and “aggressive” mascot.
The Future of the Trump Presidency

The Future of the Trump Presidency

Oliver Calder, Web Editor November 28, 2016
The 2016 presidential race was undeniably one of the most divisive, if not the most divisive, in the history of the United States. On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton was repeatedly accused of crimes related to the use of a private email server during her time as Secretary of State, although after two thorough investigations, the FBI judged that “no reasonable prosecutor” would bring a case for criminal charges against Clinton to court. She most notably took strong criticism for a distasteful comment about Trump supporters.
