Who: any Minnetonka students who want to listen and share spoken poetry and prose

What: Writer’s studio is an open-mic event open to all of Minnetonka high school designed for students to share their own personal written work or the work of poets they love

When: Friday, December 4, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Where: Black Box, Minnetonka High School

Why: First of all, there are delicious treats (I hear Morgan Erickson is making some of her killer cookies). But, more importantly, Writer’s Studio offers students the ability to share their writing talents and appreciation of writing in an intimate and respectful setting. We have many skilled writers within the Minnetonka population who never get to voice their words, so come to Writer’s Studio to hear some of the profound, controversial – and funny!! – work that your fellow students bring. Or, bring something you would like to contribute, written by you or others. We hope to see you there!
