Dr. Sauer’s health/friendship advice

When asked if he had any health tips for the students and faculty of MHS, Dr. Sauer, math teacher extraordinaire, began to reminisce on his early teenage years and the glut of food he consumed.  Now that he’s recently celebrated his 25th birthday, he has to be careful about the amount of food he ingests.  While some try to eat healthier, Doc Sauer has a much different philosophy.

Dr. Sauer recommends eating the exact same food you loved in your younger years. The one catch is that you only get to eat 47% of the food you want.  This way you can continue to eat the steak and mashed potatoes you crave while staying healthy, full, and happy at the same time.

There’s another benefit to following this rule of halves- Dr. Sauer recommends giving the other half (or 53% for all you math nerds) to your friends.  That way, he explains, you can make even more friends.  What a great bonus!

Finally, Dr. Sauer continues to bike at least 10 miles a day, sometimes even 100 miles at a time.  This consistent exercise leaves him feeling satisfied and accomplished. In the end, Doctor Sauer has continued to live a happy, healthy life well into his twenties by watching his portions, exercising daily, and laughing with new friends.
