A steaming cup of coffee is arguably  the best way to warm up in winter. Every year, Starbucks releases their holiday beverages, some old and some new. Here are all the drinks that will be offered this holiday season:

Peppermint Mocha or Peppermint Hot Chocolate– It tastes like drinking chocolate covered candy canes, plus whipped cream. Starbucks even throws red sprinkles on top to add extra holiday sparkle. You can never go wrong with this time-honored favorite.

Chestnut Praline Latte– It is steamed milk and espresso, along with a sweet, caramel-like flavor and nutty, chestnut flavors. It is topped with a bunch of whipped cream, warming spices, and actual praline chunks, creating a feeling of sitting around a warm fire.

The Caramel Brulée Latte– Based on crème brulée, this latte is topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce. For a special treat, try ordering this drink with a “caramel wall: extra caramel layered along the sides of the cup that melts perfectly into the coffee. It starts being sold in late fall and is worth the slightly higher price if you are looking for a sweet and warm drink.

The Gingerbread Latte– Filled with shots of gingerbread syrup, nutmeg, and topped with whipped cream, it tastes like a cozy, soft gingerbread cookie that grandma makes for the holidays, melted into a Starbucks latte. This drink is also offered as a Frappuccino if you are looking for a cold drink.

The Eggnog Frappuccino or Latte– It is a spin on a classic holiday drink, but with caffeine. It has light hints of spices, similar to the Gingerbread Frappuccino, but with sweet eggnog as the primary taste.

The Toasted White Chocolate Mocha– It is an espresso drink, topped with candied cranberry sugar for an extra merry vibe. It is similar to the white chocolate mocha, available year round, but… it’s toasted.

Starbucks beverage development team member Erin Marinan says, “We took white chocolate and applied a culinary twist by slowly roasting white chocolate to brown the cocoa butter and caramelizing the milk and sugar.”

Starbucks coffee is a great way treat yourself with some holiday cheer. A simple cup of coffee filled with classic flavors of the season can put anyone in the spirit.
