What do you miss most about home?

  • I miss my family and my friends at home. It’s really hard to come to school and don’t know anybody. I just have a hostister who is 9, so I had to go to school all by my own, and I really wished my best friends would have been there. That is I think the only thing I really miss, Minnesota is amazing! –Luca

Have you brought any special things from home for your stay here in Minnesota?

  • I brought a memory book/photo album, Norwegian milk chocolate (the best in the world), brown cheese and Norwegian music.- Anne

What is there in the US that you have never seen before?

  • I have never eaten s’mores, guacamole or Chipotle! Also I saw my first shooting star in Montana! And everything is bigger here, the shopping malls, the school and the house! –Lena

  • I had never seen a big waterfall before which I got to see when I went to Montana for two weeks, but I’m still waiting to see my first wild turtle too! -Hanna

What is one place in the United States you really want to see?

  • Cali, I want to go to Cali – beaches, beautiful girls, sunshine – sounds like a dream to me, apart from that I have: Watching a super bowl live on my bucket list –Mathias
  • In the united states I really want to go to Hawaii or to Alaska –Nathalia

What is your favorite thing about living in Tunisia?

  • Well my favorite thing about living in Tunisia is that we r so intellectual and we r so proud of being tunisian we r crazy and happy –Siwar
