Believe it or dismiss it, there is no escape from the inevitability of our current predicament. Despite all of our improvements in technology and society, no matter how far we may advance our Virtual Reality devices, memes as we know them will always be confined to the second dimension. At least, that was what I thought before attending Writer’s Studio– a revelation-inducing experience that broke the third wall of dank memery.

As the cold weather finally starts to come in through Minnesota, all of us rush inside, increasingly eager to get a break from the biting temperatures. However, some students aren’t getting as much of a break as they’d hoped for. You may have noticed the abundance of students bearing winter coats as they walk through the halls. Or, maybe you’ve overheard the same phrase over and over again between classes: “I’m freezing.” Whatever the case is, it’s undisputable - the school is cold.

As the days get snowier and the nights get colder, the time and help you can provide becomes more and more of a necessity for some. The winter season often brings joy to many homes, however, there are still many families that need a little extra help, especially during the holidays. The 'Breezes' Editorial board has put together a few ways that you can help spread some holiday cheer throughout your community.
